Since 2020, Instituto Caro y Cuervo offers Spanish courses in small and customized groups, on virtual live mode. And in 2021 it launches Spanish Courses for children between 7 and 14 years old.
This institution was founded in 1942 and since 2010 has led the teaching-learning processes of Spanish as a foreign language in Colombia: Spanish courses, teacher training, research and creation of teaching materials. ICC has extensive experience in teaching Spanish to adults.
Spanish courses integrate language and culture through the most useful methodologies in language teaching, such as a Communicative Approach, Action-Oriented Approach, Total Physical Response, Suggestopedia, Lexical Approach, among others.
Teachers draw on educational resources created in Colombia along with interactive strategies, based on the implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) and learning and knowledge technologies (LKT). The courses are developed live through a videoconferencing platform.
Learning Spanish at Instituto Caro y Cuervo will help your children develop communication skills of understanding, production, interaction and mediation according to their needs.
This program is addressed to non-Spanish speaking children and for Heritage Spanish speaking children.

Admission requirements
- Registration form filled in by the children’s tutor.
- Tutor’s identification document (national o passport)
- Student’s identification document (national o passport)
- Tuition payment invoice
- Placemente test conducted by ICC (included in te tuition)
- Age: 7 to 14 years old
